Took a roughly half hour walk. Went to get the mail, but there was nothing in my box, so I continued to walk, and after a minute or two I saw the mail truck go by. I figured he/she would be done by the time I came around again. I went to the dirt trail at the back of the complex, and half way down saw a grey kitty that went and hid in the grass. I said "hello" when I got to the spot, and the kitty came out and started rubbing itself on me. Then when I started walking down the trail again it followed me for a bit. I came back into the complex when I got to the end of the trail, and saw another cat hanging a bit over the balcony right above the patio of some folks I knew. When I peeked over the wall of the patio I saw my acquaintances where evidently cleaning, as there was a lot of stuff on the patio, and one of the things was their parakeet in it's cage. I hope the kitty upstairs didn't get any ideas to jump. By the time I passed the apartment of my acquaintances and got back to the mailbox, sure enough the mail carrier was done, but after all that all I found in my mailbox was an envelope from people wanting money, and an ad for a phone service I already have. Oh, well, at least there were no bills. Hoping that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
