One of the many poems I wrote while away

She said "Don't lend me your heart, Love.
I want it for keeps, I want you to know you mean so much to me "
He said "I'll Love you and hold you, until my last breath slips away, you've got me forever, that's the promise I've made, never think for a moment that my Love for you will fade"
The life they built together, oh they'd never trade
It's simple & it's sweet, and they've got it made

@RubyHawk yeah,if I ventured a guess why, it's probably a precautionary rule,to avoid any potential plagiarism concerns.
I kind of get the logic if that's the case. Thank you though,glad you like my poem.

@jnrdutton That’s why I never share poetry unless it’s already published.

@RubyHawk that's a smart way to go about it.
