So I'm reading a short read I'm already in chapter 3 there are roughly 98 pages of the story to read. This is no joke a day read I have at least 12 percent of the book read already so I plan on having it read before the kids go to bed. I'm not working on any of my books today. The short read should only take 2 hours to read if not less depending on how fast of a reader you are. I'm giving my editor today and tomorrow to finish up our final edits for the next book I have coming out in December and I'm going through a website to get the arc readers to read the book and I can see how many are downloaded this also lets me keep my work for being copied. It'll be the same copy that Amazon will get as well.

Now a days, I don't get much time to read. So, short reads are good for me. Hope all goes well and smoothly with your book

With three kids and me being an author, I enjoy most of the short reads I pick. I typically read anything that is between 300-400 pages or less. Yesterday was 170 which made it 2 hours long to read but I took longer than 2 hours because I broke it down through out the day so I could do other things as well.

@arunima25 Right! The only time I do really long stretches is if I'm in the car, or like I'm sitting around while my kids are doing activities and I just need to be there or sometimes if I'm really close to the end of the book I'll finish it out even if it takes another few hours but when I can I try to break it down over a few days. If it's a very short read I'll just break them down through the day. This way I can play things in my head over how I feel about the book.

@ShyBear88 Hmm...I see. Even I prefer to break down my reading. I can't sit at a stretch for more than 30 minutes.

Thanks, it's the last edits so it should be alright. I know my editors and we are good friends so should would do anything to it that I wouldn't like.
