Well, that was a bit of a wasted day...

Photo I took of my arm with the ID bracelet and bandages from IVs, etc.

This morning I still had some anxiety/panic attack lingering from last night. I called an advice nurse number to see if I could talk to someone. When I did talk to someone, though, she asked me my symptoms, and when I told her the main one was "tightness in the chest", she in turn called 911. I was 99% sure form past experience that it was just anxiety/whatever, but before I knew it, there was an ambulance outside and paramedics at the door. I spent several hours in the emergency room (bored out of my mind for most of it) and finally they gave me an anti-anxiety medication I'd never had before, and it made the tightness go away in less than a minute. I was sent home, and now I'm really tired. I have a prescription of the new medication, plus another one I already called in to pick up tomorrow. Now I need to get something to eat, and I guess that I'll get yesterday's mail and today's mail tomorrow. Needless to say I got diddly done today. I hope that your morning/afternoon/evening/etc. has gone well in your part of myLot land!

Wow, that medicine worked well, huh? That sounds promising. I understand not liking that the day slipped away though.

Yes, I hope I get to "keep" the medicine for a while. It's only for "emergencies" but I'll be glad to have it. The day made me tired, too. :( Hopefully tomorrow more will get done.

I don't remember the name of the new med, I guess I'll find out when I got pick it up. Yes, I've been on anxiety meds for years. Hope everything's okay after your trip to the ER!

@xstitcher I was just curious. Because I was on a bunch of different kinds for a long time. But I haven't been on any of them in a LONG time. My doctor had me get my medical card, because it doens't have as many side effects and its natrual.
