Does Affiliate Marketing Really Work?

November 9, 2023 12:55am CST
Social media has not only been my go-to for the people I follow. I like looking into new businesses, possibly ones that penniless hopefuls like myself can do. As I've been out of work for 6 months now, I want to dabble into making money online and affiliate marketing is potentially a lucrative career to get into. But I often wonder if someone like myself from outside of the US can earn dollars. It's easy to fall into the promises of gurus supposedly making $10,000 a month. Then I start wondering if it's all true or if are they simply trying to sell courses. I want to bite into it so bad because even as much as $500 per month is like getting a regular office salary, I could buy a course but I'm broke, not even getting regular $10 for my son's weekly allowance. I could waste my time wondering why my months of job applications have not come to fruition but I have a son to raise and an overzealous mother to appease. This has been the longest time I've been out of work and I don't understand why. I can't keep being dependent on family members even if they do want to help. I will always be grateful to them and for their understanding. So, if you're outside form the US and you've tried affiliate marketing, I could use some advice.

How's the affiliate marketing? Have you tried? I'm interested to try and reading Amazon's FAQs about it and watching You Tube tutorial as well.

Don't follow any gurus revealing their income proof. Most of them are faking screenshots to sell their courses.
