Hello again, myLot!

Hello, all! Came home about half an hour ago, and I am still feeling full from lunch. When my friend came, I went out to her vehicle and was greeted by my gift in the seat. We went to a Mexican restaraunt, and lunch for me was a huge Chimichanga (shrimp, because I have to have seafood on my birthday ). There was a little flan with a birthday candle in it for dessert. My friend told me that she had already set out chairs for us before she picked me up, and we went and found them after lunch. I think it was because we were on the shady side of the street (or the sun angle, or whatever) that a lot of my pics didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, but when I got home and unloaded them, I had a little over 200, so maybe some not turning out is just as well. The parade went longer than my friend thought, I think, because at one point she said, "Here comes a firetruck, I think that's the end." but then several more vehicles came after that, and then when she said something was the end again, it wasn't -- again, until finally it was. Lots of nice cars, beautiful horses, and lots of dogs--both in the parade and with spectators as far as the dogs went. I am still full from lunch, and it was a bit tiring, but it was something different. I may go for a walk yet to try to make myself feel less full.
