Disastrous earthquakes tearing the world apart, geysers of steam, and mile-high tsunamis taking back their land. The world is crumbling little by little and all began when Maze and Kaulder were teenagers. Maze and Kaulder have been separated for almost two years, and out of the blue he returns asking for the divorce papers. Maze can't help but comply, seeking how perfect and put together his life is without her. Whereas hers is a mess and she can't blame anyone but herself for how it turned out. To fix her mess, she looks back on their relationship and the disasters that surround it. The mistakes they made, and the chaos that always brewed during important milestones. The grounds were crumbling beneath her, tearing everything down around her, and there she is, just trying to catch her breath. Will Maze realize life is worth living even if the world is telling her it isn't? ~~~~ I read the first ARC of this book. It is hard to rate a book and strictly focus on the story. I initially thought 3.5 stars but since we don't do half stars on Goodreads, I gave it a 4. This story was heartbreaking, yet exciting. So many beginnings and endings to Maze and Kaulder's love story. A story of young love, young marriage, miscarriages, heartbreak, addiction, natural disasters (yes, plural), friendship and family. There is so much drama crammed into this story that one can't help but keep reading. Honestly, I really get annoyed reading about people turning to drugs and alcohol. Since I just finished Matthew Perry's story I wasn't sure I could read this. But then we take a dip back into the past to see what brought Maze and Kaulder to where they were when the story started - apart. Young love (aged 16) is heartwarming. Addiction is not. But as the saying goes, love will solve all those problems. Really, Maze and Kaulder's love is just too strong to be broken. Not even earthquakes and tsunamis can separate them. You have to read for yourself to see what an exciting read this is.

I searched "Alyssa Milani" and got "Alyssa Milano" who played Phoebe on Charmed... must be frustrating for the Canadian author.

Alyssa Milani is out there. I, too, had to double check spelling and such to make sure I got it right. I'll dm you the indigo list. It's not complete though.

Yes, I had trouble finding her. I had to keep double checking the spelling. Her other author name is A.M. Pickford. This appears to be the only book published under that name.

@sharonelton From anyone. I seem to be the only one doing it. And not very many people reading them.
