I need to make at least two phone calls today. I am also going to attempt to make a cobbler of some sort with Bisquick and the blueberries that I got from the food bank. I hope to write some more on a letter today, and maybe even get it finished. Bible study and dinner at church tonight. I usually make my cobblers out of flour, butter or margarine, sugar, and whatever fruit I have in the house. I try to do it when the cats are sleeping so I don't have a "secret" ingredient. I use a couple of cups of flour, a cup of sugar and blend them in a bowl. While I'm blending them I melt the margarine or butter and when it's well blended I will add the melted margarine and blend it by spoon until it resembles crumbles. I spread half in the bottom of a cake or brownie pan and pat it down firmly. I add my fruit then put the rest of the crumbles on the top. I then put it in the oven until it kind of browns on the top (Oh at about 350 - 400 degrees). Mom always loved it. I should make a couple of calls today, but the rain clouds are coming in...I'm trying to convince myself to head for the shower, but it's too cold right now even with the heater on. It rained last week, but it's been sunny, since. I don't have any flour right now, which is why I'm going the Bisquick route.

@xstitcher The clouds are getting thicker and darker. I hauled my portable heater into the bathroom. The gas heater winds up stinking when I run it. I highly doubt that the vents have been cleaned in the past 20 years. I took a shower and almost ended up with Freya in with me. Turns out she climbs in the shower to scrape the kitty litter off her feet. I never would have thought of that! Of course I'm just a dumb "human".
