At great heights open air swimming pools become cold.

November 17, 2023 7:44pm CST
I found in Nepal and Tibet and great heights the resorts maintain swimming pools in open air. It means the water temperature is not regulated. There are huge alpine forests in vicinity at heights of 13000 feet. I and my family members felt the water to be very cold at a temperature of 2 degree. I did not dare to swim.

A few weeks back, my family and I went to the nearest spring resort. We enjoyed swimming in a swimming pool in the open air.
