This book was odd not a creepy odd just odd and of course short as well. This door is somewhat in love with the human woman who lives inside of the apartment that door is attached to. The door is protecting Tana from her supper or anything else that might want to hurt Tana. Will as you read the store you find out the door was once a strong tall oak tree that well let's just say Zuse had a thing with this magical oak tree and its knot in its trunk. Well, Hera finds out about the affair with the tree but also finds out one wants to hurt Tana and in the name of Love wants the door like he's been doing all along and his strong love and need to protect Tana is granted the ability to do so. This is where it gets weird. Tana has a dream about door but door is a person and she thinks she is just having a weird dream. Like who wouldn't. But she is told she has to get kinky with the door. After several drinks, a condom and some lube well she does that. The door is no longer a door but a hot guy! Yeah, I know what you think I thought it too like what the magical gods kind of BS is this? Don't worry I stuck it out just to see where this goes. Dryer (The door named himself), does indeed protect but of course, this leads to Dryer becoming a door again. He doesn't care he did what he wanted to do to protect Tana. That is love when you love someone you risk yourself to keep them safe.
