So, after India won 10 straight in the Cricket World Cup they lost the important one, Australia comfortably rolling over the home team in front of 120,000 Indians and 50 odd Australians . Travis Head clubbed a big hundred and the Aussies chased 240 with overs to spare.
India's total of 240 was never enough, Kohli, yet again, playing for himself at a run a ball on a slow pitch ina search of the hundred Rahul looked confused in his role at the other end , crawling along, test match stuff. Previous to this match the guy at the other end to Kohli has gone hard at the ball but not this time. Australia's bowlers took their chance and bowled the Indians out well short of the 275 they needed to be competitive.
Its Australia's 8th World Cup win. When they target something they generally get it./

Rohit Sharma's wicket was a vital one.
I think that the way he was playing, if he had played for at least 5 to 6 overs more, the results would have been different.
Virat and Shreyas Iyer could have dealt better with the balls they were out on but the bowling by Aussie bowlers was meticulous - Pat Cummins and Starc especially.
India was 30 to 40 runs short.
Then, at 47 for 3, Aussies wete under tremendous pressure but Travis Head and Labuschagne played superbly.
India should have played an off spinner or a Left arm pacer.
I think in the future, India needs to have more part time bowlers like Australia's Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head who are mainly batters.
Plus a good Left arm pacer.
May be Arshdeep Singh in the future.
But alas, another ICC Trophy eludes India once again.
A correction: It's Australia's 6th ODI World Cup win!

You missed Pandya . I just feel Kohli only plays one pace these days and its left to the other end to get them over 300. Bring back Prithvi!

Well now, there you have it. Fair play is fine play, and that's that.
