Lol, I know that title sounds a little weird she killed a paper turkey.
Here is the story. Over the weekend my husband asked me if it was okay for him to take our 12-year-old daughter out with him to the rang. If you've seen some of my older posts you will know that my husband has a few guns nothing more than I allow. (Yes everything has like 3 locks when it comes to his gun. I'm big on safety and making sure nobody beside him and I can assess the guns. We take it to the extreme that it even impresses the guy that runs the range how far we have gone.).
Our girl was excited and the women that checked them in didn't even charge for our daughter just my husband. She found out that while they were getting things set up it was a Daddy, Daughter learning how to hand a small firearm. She thought that was sweet and only made them pay for him.
She did okayish for a 12-year-old and the important part is she listen, remembers guns are not toys to play with and shouldn't be handled alone without an adult with her and in a safe place so others can not get hurt. She didn't get any major hits on the paper turkey but she did get in one spot that would kill a real turkey for sure.

Seasonal targets? I hope they don't use paper Santas after your thanksgiving. Grinches, maybe?

The range had up Paper turkeys I don't know why maybe for seasonal person with it being Thanksgiving. I don't know if they do Satat but who would want to shoot the Grinch?
My husband is supposed to take our youngest this weekend to the range to shoot as well so who knows what they will have up this time. Normally is a target you know the circle ones but sometimes they put up a body target to shoot at. I'm guessing it's whatever they have in stock paper-wise.
