I called the cardiology office, and they said (though the lady read off my address, etc.) that I needed a referral from my primary care physician. Oi. I guess the hospital referred me and that wasn't good enough? Sheesh. So, now I'm on hold with the Health Center so that I can tell them that I need a referral from my primary care physician. After I'm done with this I'll take my meds and brush my teeth and go for a morning walk for as long as I can. Ah, beauracracy or whatever it is you call it...
