I am watching KBC (Who Wants to be a Millionaire) and this week is the kids' week. This 3rd standard guy needed help to answer why did Jack and Jill go up the Hill. He said he is a big boy now and does not remember nursery rhymes
But he is introduced as a genius for his age both by the parents and teachers. He is able to defeat his opponents in the chess game within minutes and other feats.
He answered every other question in seconds.
What say?

I have met many such people who are genius and knowledgeable about so many things in the world, but will fumble at such simple questions. I guess it's more to do with the interest of the person too. No one knows everything in the world.

He is a third standard kid and fumbled on the very first question I thoroughly enjoyed that episode - a brilliant kid otherwise.

@arunima25 This guy was going to earn a crore but chose a wrong answer knowing the basis on which those answers were. I feel sorry for that poor kid. He came down to 3.2 lakhs.

@allknowing I have not seen the show in a while. I think that they have this one week special show with children around Children's day. My younger daughter is interested in the shows with Children. I have seen her watching it but I just got few glimpses while passing by doing other stuffs.

I suppose there are different levels of intelligence, and perhaps this was his weakest knowledge gathered, or he was simply under pressure, and the question seemed difficult for him to comprehend anymore, and he forgot about it because he was indeed older now to remember them.

@allknowing It is possible he was already feeling the pressure from all the questions and that one he never expected to be asked of him.

I expected a third standard kid to remember the nursery rhymes but he is a genius by all standards looking at the way he has been answering
