Celebrating the birthday of my aunt

November 24, 2023 9:09am CST
Her birthday is on the 26th Today, we greeted her earlier because we don't want her to think we have forgotten about her. We may have not been in good terms but i have to understand her and still respect her because she's in her mid 80's. We grew up having her with us , and we grew up being manipulated. It was too sad that during that time, both of my parents were in the States. But my parents told us even if she was like that., just respect her at least nobody will say we're rude and good for nothing At least everyone would say we remain respectful So, no matter what, we want to greet her happy birthday. I believe, do unto others what you want others to do into you. I believe in karma. We.have to be nice to everyone so we dont have to experience it too

It's commendable that you're choosing to greet your aunt on her birthday despite past difficulties. Respecting and understanding someone, especially considering their age, reflects maturity and compassion. Your parents' advice about maintaining respect, even in challenging situations, is wise. Choosing kindness and extending birthday wishes demonstrate a positive outlook. As you believe in karma, fostering goodwill can indeed contribute to positive energy and experiences. I hope your aunt appreciates the gesture, and it becomes a moment of connection and understanding for both of you.

I know she does but I don't know if she'll remember since she's now sick of dementia. But i know in her heart, she'll remember , for until when? That's what i don't know. But at least in her eyes, i know she's happy??
