Finally a "banned practice" came into rescue of 41 workers trapped in a tunnel collapse while undergoing construction work. After a high-tech, imported drilling machine broke down in the final stretch of the operation, authorities went back to "rat-hole mining" practice and brought back the workers. This has been a great feat for the rescuing team who had been working 24/7 for past few weeks.

It's a big relief. I have been following the news very closely. I hope and pray that all 41 workers get the needed medical attention and recover well. Must be a trauma to stay trapped inside for two weeks.

So I take it the "Rat Hole mining" was a banned practice? Glad they decided to use it anyway!

Yes a big sense of relief to see all of them safe.
They are receiving sufficient medical treatment.
A well coordinated effort and big contribution of state and central governments.
However, enough should be done to prevent such incidents in the future.
