I was right...

I read the first chapter of a book called "In it Together". I can already tell I'm not going to like it and find myself disagreeing with what the author says every other sentence. I usually read fiction books, which is part of it, not some guy's opinion on how the world should work, or that we all experience the same things, or how to be happy, (or whatever the author's point is) as this seems to be.
Thankfully, it is not very long, but I really dislike reading a book I don't like because it's kind of an "assignment" (like reading Albert Camus' "The Stranger" in High School--would never pick up that book again--my apologies to anyone who read it and liked it).
Not sure I can write reviews like other people have on the "Book Club" site, but I'll try.

At least you can give it a try to review like "In It Together" and even though you may not like it, at least give it a try.

Yes, that is what I plan to do.

When I don“t like a book I just leave it. For me reading is a pleasure and not a torture. Rarely have I started disliking a book and finally loving it.

The same with me, but this is a book I'm supposed to review and get paid for the review, so it's like that awful book in high school--I "have" to read it.
If I don't like a book, I will normally put it right down, too. Sometimes I go all the way through it so I can give it a "terrible" rating at the end.

Just be honest in your review. People need to know both sides of the coin, good and bad. You shouldn't feel like you need to write a glowing review.
