Thoughts On Driving and Anger

Just like a person shouldn't drive drunk, I don't think they should drive angry either. Intense anger has a tendency to impair rational faculties (at least temporarily) and that of course is dangerous.
I think if a person gets angry while driving, it might be best for them to pull over somewhere until they've composed themselves.
I rather they do that than put themselves and others at risk of possible death or injury.

That reminds me of an episode of that show, Mythbusters. They tested driving buzzed (but under the legal limit), driving really happy, and driving really angry. Driving angry almost equaled the mistakes of driving buzzed (but remember, this was not an indicator of flat out drunk). If we are angry, you are right, we need to pull over, and calm down.

I'm ashamed to say, I've ridden with buzzed drivers in the past, not my smartest move.
Angry drivers scare me immensely (even Courtney, and she's usually the best driver I know)

@jnrdutton I think we all do things we know aren’t the wisest, and we look back, and think, what was going on in my head?

@AmbiePam yeah, I know you are right. One thing is when we are young, we often have the misconception that the worst could never happen to us. I was pretty young back then.

Yes,but sometimes in heavy congestion it is not always possible to do that. I think there should be a PSA for it though like there is for drunk driving.

I totally agree. Angry drivers are a menace on the road. Have a good week.
