India is packed with variety. We have any States. And each State has it own language. We have countless languages, the clothign is different, even the food is not the same. And yet we live in harmony While on tour we look for people who can understand English as that is one language that is universal and mostly we have no trouble with that. The problem however is with food Some use coconut oil, some mustard oil, some olive oil, peanut oil and sun flower oil The taste of cooking changes with the oil medium. Some States like sweet goodies and some spicy. .... Even the cultures and traditions are different not to forget the dance forms. What is common however is the willing to be friendly and courteous What is your story

we also vary here in culture, art, ethnicity and each region has its own special food and of course what is common here is that everyone eats rice.

I’m not sure what is common to use in our state or country but we use a lot of different oils. I use whatever is the lowest cost to season a pan, coconut oil for some recipes that call for it, olive oil for many recipes as well as vegetable oil.

@allknowing my husband had me buy ghee recently that was costly! I don’t think I have any sunflower oil but it’s possible. I know I have sesame oil and a few others recipes call for now and then.

This is also very similar to my country. Here the food, dialects, customs etc are quite different from everywhere in my country. Such as in the south we prefer to eat more rice than wheats, and it is the opposite to the north.

That is great that you get along with each other so good. I wish the United States would all get along with each other.

Yes, most go out of their way to help someone in need. It is a privilege to help and not a favor. Our conscience tells us “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”

USA is varied so much, people don't understand each other between streets, never mind states. They just don't have the capacity.
