My brother called....

Right after I finished my previous post, my phone rang. I couldn't find it of course until it stopped ringing, and then when I did find it I saw my brother had called. I called him back, and he just wanted to check in and see what was going on with me, and we chatted about this and that for a while. It sounded crazy when he talked about my two older nephews and their girlfriends. Jeez, didn't I just change both of their diapers yesterday? He said he's not sure what he and his girlfriend were doing for Christmas, and if I remember right he said my nephews would be with their mother. That's okay. I have my own ways of celebrating. He also said that he'd put the check for my part of the rent from the house in the mail, so I'm looking forward to getting that and taking it to the bank.
