The colour of yellow hibiscus has become orangish due to low sunlight

December 4, 2023 7:49pm CST
In winter in Calcutta there is very low sunlight. In calcutta for most part of the day it remains overcast and cloudy. So the yellow hibiscus in the pots in the balcony have started turning orangish. That colour is also bright and pretty.

This us very interesting to know. Weather plays an important part in the lifecycle of plants and flowers.

@sathviksouvik Oh and probably it could be a bit due to the pollution.

It looks really bright ?? as you rightly said. How long do you usually experience winter in Calcutta?

This year due to sea effect winter has not set in. In other years December and January are the 2 cold months

Orange flowers are also beautiful. We have hibiscus here, but I haven't noticed any change of color.
