Yesterday I ended up writing 4 pages of chapter 3 of book 2 of my merman series and no I can't tell you what has happened in the first 2 chapters. It many just be a character built in those first 26 pages of the book.
What I've come up with is pretty good. I'm waiting for my alpha reader to just read it. I know she hasn't been feeling well so she hasn't had time to look at it. She's been instructed to not edit just read for now since book 1 still needs to be finished with editing before I assign beta readers to read through it.

My alpha reader is my editor and she has read almost 10 chapter there are 13 chapters total but she will get to them. She had to work yesterday and said she would try to spend time on it last night but I don't think she did since my email didn't get a notification.

@ShyBear88 I see. I hope she can get to read it soon. Sounds like she's feeling better now anyway, so that's good.

@sharonelton Just because she goes to work doesn't mean she is feeling better. Like I tell my kids somethings even when you don't feel good or well you still have to do things like go to work.
