Using a Tablet computer

I just got a tablet computer, with a pen, so I can practice to write handwriting.
I just have one problem. Most of the apps are set for vertical screen, but the stand that came with the tablet sets it horzontally. How can I change this? I want to put the tablet on the stand that came with it and I am used to the computer which has the screen horizontally. Help?

it is a Samsung tablet, bought in Israel, I didn't look in the instructions, they usually are in all different languages, and hard to find the English

I remember there is a setting which can change screen direction,but i can't remember where the setting is.You may question after-sales person,they usually can offer technical supports.

Does the tablet have an 800Number to call? It might be in the instruction booklet that came with it.
If it is a major brand like Samsung for instance, they can help online also in the chat.

I hope you are able to get it all figured out. I have a tablet but when I turn it the screen turns with the tablet.
