Haven't heard from the elder care lady--but then, things could have come up on their end or something.
I'll wait until tomorrow, and then get a hold of her (the lady who first contacted me) again.
Right now, I need to get ready for church.

It's understandable that sometimes unexpected things come up. Fingers crossed that you'll hear from the elder care lady soon. In the meantime, focusing on church and the positive moments might help ease the wait. Sending good vibes your way!
