Looking to Network Here for Photography and Mixed Media Art

Hello everyone! It has been several years since I have been here. Right now I am working on specific things in getting to know all of you photographers and artists out there. I do not do digital art. I love painting with acrylics specifically, but I also do collage, mixed media, art journals, sketching in my sketchbook, colored pencils, oil pastels, while now starting to try my hand with watercolors. I love to doodle and create my own coloring books in my sketchbooks. Adult coloring books I find difficult in most cases with all the tiny detail. So making my own is more fun. And cheaper siince I don't have to buy the coloring books. LOL My art is mostly abstract. I also love glue books and just play around with those while watching tv at night. That is when I like to sketch also. However, my little dog doesn't really like sharing my lap and chair with all those things. I love photography, but right now my subjects are florals and my dog, DaisyMae. Sh is an American Eskimo mix with an unknown mix. I keep my own little flower and vegetable garden for photography purposes. I love nature, birds, butterflies, insects, etc... anything I can play around with doing macro photography. Also, I do some types of crafts. So any kind of discussion of that is fun too. I am learning beading very slowly. I really want to learn more about using various types of beads in my mixed media art and in my art journals. Now that I cannot do the outdoor garden until spring, I am also loving my indoor houseplants. I tried to keep a container blueberry plant and a raspberry plant. The blueberry plant has dropped most of its leaves for the winter but is still green in the stems. However the raspberry, which was doing really nicely, suddenly totally shriveled up. Not sure if that is what is supposed to do with container fruits. As long as the blueberry plant stays green I will see what happens come spring, but I am not sure what to do with the raspberry. Well, that is about it for this brief re-introduction. I will talk about all kinds of things, music, tv shows and movies, books, the Bible, being a parent, grandparent and great grandparent, and more. So, come on and let's chat.
