Police in Columbia County Florida arrest a driver who stole an ambulance

The life of police officers in Columbia County Florida can get scary like the time when a suspect who allegedly was driving an ambulance last weekend on the road when the driver fled from the police after first responders were taking care of the suspect Stanley Williams, 35, was under the influence of drugs managed to get into the ambulance and try to flee both the first responders and the police officers.
Stanley was able to flee the police for a short while when the ambulance struck a curb and then halted near the entrance of the Columbia County Sheriff's Office Operations Center.
After Stanley was arrested by the police after the chase ended, Stanley was taken to a local hospital to be examined by medical personnel.
Columbia County Sheriff Mark Hunter is grateful that the incident did not result in anyone getting hurt in the incident.
