It's Not One Thing, It's Many A Poem and explanation

I wrote this one for dear sweet Margie, who just Friday, lost her husband Friday, thankfully from what she says it was quick, and I saw her today at Church which honestly didn't surprise me, because she had told me right now it's better to be around her friends so we made plans for Wednesday and Friday, her idea, and I am just going with it, because if this is what helps her I'm all for it. And honestly when I've lost loved ones I know being around friends helped. Anyway I just wrote this poem for her, although I'm not a hundred percent sure how I feel about it. It's Not One Thing It's Many The memories you Made are yours to keep The piece of them That lives in you Long after they are Gone. The life you live The joy and the pain A remnant of the parts That were them The joy And the pain Defined a place A time. The dreams You shared They are still Yours The pain is Valid The joy too.
