Went for a little over 30-minute walk--went to a neighbor's house out of the apartment complex, delivered a card, then went to one of my neighbor's here in the complex. It's two older ladies that live together--though today I mostly talked to the one--she invited me in, thanked me for the card and told me that she'd been subscribing to Factor meals, and gave me one to take home. I told her about the upcoming Elder care job, and how (I thought) I'd last heard from the lady last week. She said I'd better get back in touch with her. When I got home, I got back on here, and checked my phone. The lady had sent me a message to answer a previous question of mine, saying that at that time they were offering a base rate of $19 an hour, and payment was every Friday. Shifts could be as short as 2 hours, but that could vary depending on the client. I texted her back and said it sounded good (also what my brother texted me when I texted to tell him what she said) and I texted her back asked when exactly I would start and how would I know where to go (ie: to which client's house, etc.) So, that's been my morning. Now, I need to find something else to get done.
