A female driver whose name was not released to the public is being praised for having a heart of compassion when she got out of her auto last Thursday when a Chihuahua dog was seen running on the Staten Island Expressway in the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane.
The female who got out of her auto to chase the Chihuahua was able to catch the Chihuahua after chasing the dog for about one mile by scoop the male dog with a towel with the help of other drivers who blocked the road to prevent the dog from being injured.
The Chihuahua who is named Bean was reunited with his owner after pictures of the dog were seen on Facebook.

I'm so glad the dog wasn't injured and was able to be reunited with its owner.

Bean probably got scared by another animal when he was in the yard of his owner.

That was lucky she was able to catch the dog on the highway and that Bean did not get hit.

Bean most likely ran away from home by accident when a door inside of his owners home was left open by accident.
