Operation Christmas Hope Was a Success

Wednesday we spent a few hours helping out at Operation Christmas Hope, Margie wanted to take part in this, so we went with her, we stayed until seven leaving just before a downpour hit, and this event alone served somewhere between 225-250 families because once again Nancy threw it out of the Ball park. This of course happened before Margie hurt her back. Today marks a week since she lost her husband, she had wanted to go out today, to celebrate my birthday late, it was a month ago, but I was sick, but probably not now, though with her I wouldn't be overly shocked, I just don't want her to feel obligated and I've told her as much. Robert and Paula (Santa and Mrs Claus) aren't feeling well at all, for Paula to admit she's not feeling well is a lot, but they've been burning the candles at both ends, between the Pantry and playing Santa Claus and Mrs Claus...
