I've actually been home for about 20 minutes, but I was having some trouble getting my computer to actually turn on. Well, I was at the place way too early, so I got further on my book that I'm reading. When I finally went into the physical, I basically bombed. The lady I spoke to first tried getting me to do some balancing things. Me? Balance? That didn't work out well at all. Then this other guy put weights in a box while I lifted the box and put it on the floor and lifted it back on the table--adding more weight each time. I only made it to 35 or 40 pounds before I couldn't lift anymore. (the job people wanted me to lift at least 60). Then he took my blood pressure and for whatever reason both times he did it my BP was high. So, that job's not for me. Oh, well. God has something better. On to tomorrow, when I can stay home!

Maybe this will clear the way for your appointment with the Department of Rehabilitation (that’s what it’s called, right?). You’re right that God has something better for you. Sometimes He just wants our willingness, and you have shown you have that.

Thank you, Amber, I just need to wait a bit. My appointment with the DOR is in January.

That job was not meant to be . Whatever happens is meant to happen.
