"Mary, Did You Know? - Lyrics written by Mark Lowry in 1984 and music written by Buddy Greene in 1991. It was originally recorded by a Christian recording artist, Michael English in 1991.
It has been covered many times; but my favorite is by Pentatonix an American a cappella group formed in 2011. They won the third season of NBC's "The Sing Off", received $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music. They have won 3 Grammys and have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Pentatonix released "Mary, Did You Know?" in 2014; and it reached #1 on the Billboard US Holiday 100.
Listen to the lyrics. They always give me goosebumps!

I love that song. I love Pentatonix too. Mark Lowry is/was part of the Gaither singers. I've heard him sing the song. Yes, it gives me goosebumps too. It was just on my Alexa Christmas music before I read your post. Awesome coincidence. It wasn't Pentatonix, though, who sang it.
