...and thanking the Lord for His goodness and the people He puts in my life.
I started feeling down because I'll be alone at Christmas, and then I talked to a friend via text, and she suggested printing out something Christmas crafty from on line, and thinking about Jesus and His blessings.
I couldn't find a craft that really struck me, so I decided to paint a rock. It's out on the patio wall near the wreath that's in the center of the faux pine garlands.
I am determined to think of His many blessings this Christmas.

I am glad you found something to help you feel more at ease about being alone at Christmas.

I went out with my gentleman friend, he was going to the library. I thought great I'd get a craft book and so a new craft for Christmas. The selection of books was awful! So when he finished we headed for the store and the pharmacy and home. I'm spending this Christmas alone and I was really down about it, but for some reason it has passed (of course yesterday's shopping didn't hurt in helping the depression pass. I learned a LOT about the greed of the season). I'm going to be happy simply sewing bears, roasting my chicken, and kicking back. The 26th I have to leave at 11:30 for a 1:45 doctor's appointment (the bus service is running a holiday schedule that sucks swamp water!!!), I have to put up with the schedule to get my pain meds. So spending Christmas alone doesn't seem that bad. I'm also wondering if my neighbor (Oscar the Grouch) is going to spend Christmas with his children or alone. From what I have heard his children don't even like him!!!! The thought makes me sad, but I don't dare go near him because of his false accusations towards me.
Anyhow, you have someone down south that cares about you and is here for you. I'll check in through the day and I do kind of want a P.M. from you for a special reason. L & H's, Toni, Petey and Freya

Thank you very much, Toni. That will be greatly appreciated.
(I have a doctor's appointment the 26th too--though it's not 'til 4p.m.)
