A dam good view

Nope - I'm not swearing. We drove out to a reservoir at the foothills less than an hour away, and this was the view that greeted us. It's a great mix of hills, trees, meadows, a huge water body and the dam. They had a couple of lookout points to soak in the views. We could also drive over the dam - a very narrow road. I love just visiting places to gaze out at views like this.
