That is what I will attempt to do from 2024 onwards I have spent many a sleepless night worrying when my dear ones show indifference. But not anymore. As long as I am not responsible for creating that condition I will move on A niece whom I helped with her career never calls me, nor visits me. I have now decided to forget that she even exists. There are many more such situations Talking about pets I have had many disturbing situations specially cats when they decide to leave despite all the love and care they get here. Billu has still not turned up She was the best among our pets. No reason why she has not turned up. Every day was a new day with her - her never-ending activity kept me merrily on my toes. Her willingly choosing my lap for a snooze was so endearing The best is to stay detached so that when pets do this one can cope better

I've also done this, too much added frustration that I had to let it go only with me it was a sister. No problem with cats. Happy New Year.

Good morning and Happy New Year. Yes, you should take things slower and relax a bit more. No more worrying about things you can't control. I'm sorry your niece doesn't call or visit. I'm sorry about your cat. I hope she turns up. That's why, if I ever had cats, they would be house cats and I'd never let them out!

@sharonelton Confining them inside all their life does not seem right to me. This way they get to live a quality life and yes they are at risk.

@allknowing Aw. I hope he comes back. But in future maybe you should keep your cats inside? They could get injured or stolen. I wouldn't want any cat of mine going outside.

Aww how long has she been gone? If that was the case around here a coyote or something would be the culprit . Not getting to attached to animals that aren’t exclude to our homes inside is a good idea. I am sorry you are sad but he has a nice life when he was around you that you can rest assured.
