That I would like to do this year (particularly this month) is clean up around here. This apartment is a really horrible mess, and this year I've got to take more time cleaning and putting things where they belong. Today I already took the recycling to the dumpster, since there will be no garbage/recycling today, I'm 99% sure. I was going to take the trash, too, but the can is not quite full, so that one of the reasons I've been picking up and putting/throwing things away. I'm starting to "feel" having stayed up all night last night, so I don't know how long I'll be able to do stuff--but tomorrow after I've had a better night's sleep I hope to do some more.

I am sure you'll get it done. I did a surprising amount while doing laundry today.

Oh, Stacey. My apartment is a mess too. I mean, it’s clean, but disorganized. When Covid hit, some people gained 30 pounds, some people got depressed; I got messy.

I don't know if it was COVID or getting older or what. When we were kids, I was the neatnick and my brother was the messy one.

I clean up as I cook. If I used the stove I clean it while the food is cooking. I clean while I do things. That way you do not have to do all the cleaning at once.
