It rained last night

As you know we are in January which is normally expected to be dry. In fact it stops raining by the end of September and flowers that need a dry climate such as bougainvillea show up This is the first time we have had rain in January. There will be havoc in our garden I doubt if we will get mangoes this year as I do not see any flowers which show up normally around November. Despite that rain watering the garden will be done as usual. I do not know how heavy the rain was. What's your story?

My area has been dry for about a few days now. Some rain is expected on Saturday.
