Thunder and lightning in January

The rain itself is odd for January and last night we had thunder and lightning In what way thunder and lightning is connected to global warming is not understood. While weather changes are attributed to global warming can thunder and lightning at the wrong times also be attributed there? I feel I am in the month June It rained heavily last night as well. No doubt no watering of the garden but those that do not flower because of rain is a matter of concern. No flowers means no mangoes and no jackfruits. What's weather like at your end?

There was some severe weather this morning with gusty winds through the day and night but nothing serious in terms of any major damage to the buildings today and evening.

Yesterday it only rained for a few minutes and now it looks like it's going to rain but the air is still warm, just fertilizing the bushes.
