Today I had katla fish curry and rice. For Bengalies the fishes Katla Rohu and Mrigel are the bigger ones. They are eaten as package as curry. The fish head is used to make murighanta with moong dal or lentil. The eggs of the fish is fried. The other pieces are eaten as curry with rice.

We seldom eat curry fish here. We usually fry, bake or steam the fish. For deep fry fish, I sometimes have it with salad dressing. For steamed fish, we use soya sauce. May be I should try curry fish as well.
