Anoter day at home with kids

Yep, my kids were lucky with the snow last week they only had to go on Thursday. This week is also a short week for them. Today the kids are off because it's the end of the quarter and it is a student holiday so the teacher could get the grades in for the day.
It's also my youngest 9th birthday so we will be doing a few things this evening for him. Cupcakes for him and brownies for the rest of us and before you go that seems unfair. They are gluten-free cupcakes and all four are for him to eat. He'll only have one tonight. The rest of us will have brownies because they have gluten in them which he can't have. I got him his favorite cupcakes.

Everyone's going to get something sweet, so it's perfectly fair. Plus, being the only one eating the cup cakes makes the cup cakes seem kind of special.

yes, I try to make sure if you want something sweet on a birthday that you get it. It's not like it's expensive and they don't care just it's something they picked. Plus my oldest has her birthday in 6 days so it'll cover for when she has her birthday too. Although she wants chocolate bunt back so I'll get a half of one from the store.
