How to deal with person who is really a gossiper!!

I have a friend who has a big problem about her other friend. She discover that friend of her is a big gossiper and her hobbies is to tell a lie against other people. She already knows that she is kind of like that but she still make friends on that person and now her problem is how to get rid of that person since she already knows all of her secrets and does not want to make friends of her anymore. Alot of their friends already dont want to make friends of her because of her bad attitude. She is leaving to her next door.. What is your suggetion for her to get rid of that gossiper lady??

I think she should just be honest with the gossiper. The gossiper should be held responsible for her actions, and she should know that she is losing friends because of how she acts. Your friend can be honest with out being mean about it, but still should be honest.

the best way to work out with such people is to give them false material on which they can build up their gossip and finally let them carry on with things till they finally realize that they have been fooledand all this while they were making fun of their own self. that is one way you can really tell them how they can get into trouble because of their stupid gossiping habit
