Making Fish Food

Philippines

Not really. I was just merely grinding them. Usually I would purchase those who are powdered ones. They are mostly designated for young fries (baby fish) but I figured it would saved me from over feeding them. So, instead of buying another powdered ones, I saw a bunch of p03's fish food and grind them instead. I don't feed them flakes like most people do. Not sure why. Have a nice day

Practical move. I think it will save you more than buying the powdered ones. I started trying to culture grindal worms and started feeding them to my fish. So far, my fish like live foods, and they seem to consume them very fast. Even the fries really love eating them, especially the smaller worms, which they can easily swallow. Once I feed them, it can last them the whole day.

@Letranknight2015 It can be a challenge at times, but the grindal worms culture is easy to manage since I only need a cocopeat for them to grow and some fish or dog food for them to eat on. They easily grow and multiply, so I can afford to harvest them daily for my fish to eat.

Those live ones, they're kinda hard to grow and i might accidentally swallow it for some reason. I am better off with powdered ones. But they are times I can feed them mosquito larvae.
