Broken Finger...But God!

UPDATE: My grandson played in every event he was supposed to and my daughter said he got all 1's which is top scores. But his finger is really hurting now that it is all over. He will have to go to the orthopedic specialist sometime soon. My 16-year-old grandson has solo and ensemble competitions tomorrow. He is supposed to play a 7-minute piano piece, a trumpet solo, and two ensembles-- percussion and steel drum. Two days ago, he broke his left index finger! The only thing he would be able to perform in would be the trumpet solo because he would not need to use that finger. However, as of this afternoon, he is planning on performing in every event. He said he will play through the pain. He has a splint for now but will have to go to an orthopedic specialist for this broken finger. He is an excellent musician and has the potential for becoming a professional pianist. I am asking anyone who believes in the power of prayer through our Lord Jesus Christ to pray for him tonight and tomorrow and beyond. If he cannot play tomorrow, I know he will be really disappointed. Healing will take time also. But God... I love that. But God.
