A Busy Couple of Days

A busy couple of days, but it's been all good, my niece showed up unexpectedly after Church but I had lunch with a friend the reservations were already set up, and we were talking about her husbands memorial service which will be February 10, and next Saturday I have a happier occasion to attend, a Baby Shower for a Church Member! After the lunch though I did get to spend time with my girls and I was so happy of course when they left I spent sometime jotting down ideas for the poem.
I'll share a few ideas here though these are only very rough ideas, and I'm not sharing the more personal details, but I would appreciate your thoughts, Bob was a strong believer so I wanted to incorporate that in.
Born at a time
When the world was
Clouded by the threat of
War!
The path
Set before
Him would
Lead
Him in many
Directions
But he would
Come to find his
Strength in the Lord!
As I said I have more work to do on this, but I wanted to at least get a few ideas down.
On a brighter note, I had fun with my girls, they got their gifts finally and loved them!
I have a friend who makes custom shirts so I had the hoodie Amber is wearing made for her, she loved it and Paisley loved all of her gifts too..

You had a lovely time last Sunday? Your niece's visit at your church must have been very special.
Sweet and inspiring poem you have written there. Thank you for sharing it.

Glad your girls loved their gifts. Beautiful photo.
The poem is well drafted. I like the message.
