In the name of Communication

In a video recently I watched, the husband slowly comes to the kitchen while the wife was chopping something and keeps the empty tea cup near the sink. The wife starts chopping loudly without even looking at him and the husband stops, turns washes the cup, keeps it in its place while the sudden animation in the method of chopping slows down. Non-Verbal communication. A severe look, an empty smile, a closer enquiring look, a gesture of the hand or the palm, are enough to send cues. There's written communication where the author pens down his interests and preferences in the form of a short story or script and wait for the readers' opinion or feedback through reviews. There are film directors and authors who camouflage controversial issues under period love stories or change the genre altogether. We also communicate through dreams. Considering that dreams are nothing but the projection of our thoughts, those which lie deep in the id, subconscious, unconscious levels, surface, and we chance to meet our loved ones who have crossed over or people who we have not been in touch with for long, or even people who in the waking state are actually strangers. Sometimes, people whom we don't like, appear otherwise (friendly) in a setting unknown to us. Yesterday I happened to see a 12 year old communicating with her father in sign language while conveying whatever the father responded with, vocally, fluently. Our language is different with birds and animals and plants. Nature lovers know. We communicate through sketches and paintings and the fine details we use in carving figures out of rock or marble and those with sand tell how open we are, to the universe. 'Slowly' is an app that helps provide a platform to resuscitate the practice of writing letters. And so is MyLot. These platforms allow us, the freedom to express ourselves following a set of guidelines which should be. If we are designed in the image of the Creator and have been blessed with the vision and the interaction with those who have crossed over, we still have the chance to 'leave our footprints in the sands of time' through our work, our interactions, our being, as long as we are alive.

I sometimes wonder what the birds want to say to us.

They are busy talking to themselves. How much they talk!! Listening to birds is therapeutic. It calms the mind.

The Aboriginals, the Highly Evolved Beings communicate telepathically. Message Down Under makes a wonderful read. It's available on Kindle.
