Thanking the Lord for good friends who know about computer stuff.
My friend picked me up, and we went to her apartment across town.
She helped me fix the thing with my Venmo account (couldn't get in and couldn't figure out why) plus helped me reset my password for my AOL account, which I accidentally signed out of and couldn't remember my password. 
She showed me around her apartment, and I got to meet her dog. 
When she drove me home, we spent the usual 45 minutes to an hour chatting before I got out of the car.
So so glad that's taken care of. I have one more thing to take care of tomorrow, and then I can get on with things. Hopefully the SIM card for my phone will come this week, and then I can answer any phone calls or texts or whatever I've gotten in the last couple of weeks (at least, I think it's been that long, and if not, it sure seems like it if not longer)!
