tony blair's resignation

He snookered himself the moment he announced he wasn't going to do the full term. I suppose his health concerns at the time played a huge role in that decision but it's clear he could do the term. I think he needs to give his successor time to settle in and hold the reigns, though Tony isn't a man to happily leave office.
