I got in a 34-minute walk today, according to the time I left and the time I came back. The weather's nice today--cool but not too cold--cloudy, but the sun's out there, somewhere. I read somewhere that there's a storm coming--or at least that it's going to rain a bit. Right now I may head to Safeway to see if I can find some good deals on things to take in lunches to my Department of Rehabilitation training this week. Hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

Good (?) morning. It's been raining down here at Atascadero California. My crew of cats that I feed were out early nagging for their breakfast. It's a tad chilly and I'm debating going out and doing some shopping today with my gentleman friend. We're supposed to get gusty winds this afternoon and of course more showers to go with them. But for the moment Freya is enjoying sitting on the end table watching the birds swoop by the window. Anyway I am feeling the bite of the cold and the rainy weather in my left ankle. I'm going to wrap it in a couple of minutes because not only does it hurt when I'm up but it hurt really badly when I was in bed this morning trying to get a bit of extra sleep. (oops, it's raining again and it's a quarter to 11:00 a.m.) I hope you hurried to Safeway and are getting what you need before the rain hits. I am thankful that the rain held off last night until I was able to get my laundry done. I got it in the washer at 3 p.m. and someone had a load in the dryer. I waited until after 7:30 p.m. when I emptied one of my work laundry baskets and went to the laundry room and put the person's dried clothes in my laundry basket, then shifted my stuff out of the washer and started it drying. I FINALLY got my laundry out of the laundry room at 9 p.m. and folded and put away by 10!!! It was only one load!!!!!! Well, I guess I had better shut up! Freya is giving me the "eye". She's cold and wants to curl up on my lap where the computer is. She goes past mad and straight to even at times...pretty good for a cat! OOPS! Now I know why she wants lap time, she hears thunder!!! I got used to it in Thailand, but I'm not too used to it in California.
