That sounds like a very healthy meal.. I am a bit surprised about neem leaves. Won't it make the whole dish very bitter? I have never tried using neem leaves for cooking. I know that they are very healthy. Our grandfather would make us chew one each day for 11 days when the new tender leaves came fresh in spring. We really hated that
.
Many people call Curry patta as sweet neem . I use them in plenty of dishes, almost on daily basis

thanks Arunimaji yes it is a bitter. But with the brinjal it tastes very nice. In bengali we call it neem begun. In shukto also uchee and karela are given meaning bittergpurd they add taste.

I've never heard of neem leaves. Or brinjal. I hope you enjoyed that and your cabbage curry.

@sathviksouvik I see. Are they tasty? I don't think you can get them in the UK.
