Are You Not Tired of Greedy People Yet?

Sure, we have plenty of money but you pay for it. Lets see a poor person say something like that without getting creamed. I have my welfare check, my food stamps, but please Mr man or Miss lady buy me a beer. The things rich people can do is amazing. This is a sports post so turn the page if you hate sports. I always think I try to make them interesting, but its still a sports posts. St. Louis Cardinals won today, my teams, of course, last chance to turn the page, but may impact you, tax dollars and all. If does not impact you, your local teams could be trying to do this too. It effects people directly, indirectly. Cardinals showing a little fight in them so far, but not about them. Its their sister city Kansas City. Royals, I can see, they do not win often but want a new stadium. They probably poor and need your help. The World Super bowl Chiefs now want a new stadium. They talking about moving Kansas City from Missouri to the Kansas side. Its on the ballot to increase your taxes after you pay them 20 dollars for one beer. 100 bucks just for cheap tickets. Baseball, not that bad. Can still get 10 dollar tickets but food and beverage prices just as ridiculous. Now they want your tax money too for their new palaces. I told the Chiefs Franchise, dude, you won 3 out of the last 5 superbowls. Kansas City should have more money than the New York Yankees right now. Football is much more popular than baseball. Does not matter if you willing to pay it. Another thing they do not tell you about Capitalism, its do not break it, its lets see how far we can push it till it breaks. Another prime example of why you are poor and they are rich. I love sports, love my teams but you have to stop this madness and us fans need to stop this behavior, its out of hand. These not the only teams. Oakland A's were supposed to go to Vegas because Oakland the city does not play. We will not buy you a stadium with our tax payer dollar. Its capitalism, how it works, its a business, we not bailing you out. Why Oakland A's will be playing in a minor league stadium in the arch rival City of Sacramento. Fix Capitalism or chalk it up with socialism, I would say Communism, but Communism is straight evil.

I don’t think hardly any stadiums should get tax funded money. Most owners, although a couple genuinely don’t, have the money to pay for these places themselves. Non sports people think all owners are rich enough, but not everyone is on the same level of rich. Chiefs aren’t going anywhere though.

@AmbiePam There is a few, you are right, Raiders think they paid most, Jerry Jones, Mark Cuban, but most midwest seems to ask for help. Oakland did too, their stadium in shambles, and they were good but people were not coming and it is true that ball park sucks. Its not a baseball atmosphere. You need the skyline not more seats to look at a a bunch more drunk fans Baseball has the best atmosphere in all of sports if done right, football and basketball can only go by amenities, hockey too. Baseball is only sport you can get outside atmosphere of city. Those action packed sports though, baseball is neat in other ways and you have to do it right to keep people coming.

@crossbones27 I don’t feel sorry for Oakland. No one came to those games, even during the Zito and Mulder years when they had good teams. You can’t not attend games, then whine about them leaving. Visiting players commented how much that place stunk, so perhaps there was more than one reason not to attend, but I don’t think them leaving Oakland was a big loss for anyone but nostalgic old timers. Texas knows how to throw a baseball game though. Their stadiums have always been nice, and there were always some foods that didn’t break the bank, which I appreciated. They have an atmosphere like what you describe! And unlike basketball, hockey, and football, you can take a kid and they won’t learn 10 new obscenities!

@crossbones27 Unless you plan to change it, then letting it ruin your day isn't worth it.

I know what you mean since winning a sports championship does require the paying customer to pay more money to assist the owners of the sports team to pay with tax money to renovate or build a new stadium.

@Deepizzaguy Its more money for them, everyone wants more money too, rightfully so, no one did better than us. The problem is they also get a boatload of money in other ways no one dispels. Its also true when you on top of the world you get more problems but don't we know this by now, don't we have a plan in place. I guess it is indeed harder than it looks. I do not want to hear anyone tell me its so easy, whats wrong with you if this is the case.

@Deepizzaguy I hear you. I will not even go to a baseball game anymore. . Tickets still kind of affordable but be in nose bleed seats and then you get the concessions. Its kind of like that commercial, you have the cookies but no milk. Then you surrounded by people with money. Especially in LA. Its I torture I tell you. I hate going anywhere now, money this money that. You not cool if you can't blow a wad. People say its me, but its feels wrong and dirty when crap should just be fair, decent and affordable, not to get every last cent out of people's hard earned money.

@crossbones27 I am just saying that I live on a shoe string budget and I cannot afford to pay a kings ransom to watch a sporting event.
